Fun at the family expo
Before the kids were picked up for a weekend with their dad me and David took payten and allyxis to the family expo. Payten had a blast getting lots of treasures and i think she played every game there. It was a very nice time for our family to bond more. We even won a book gift basket! I'm glad we went and was very surprised at how adventurous payten was. Allyxis didn't get to do a whole lot but she got lots of treasures too.

Happy Birthday Wyatt!
we celebrated Wyatt's birthday yesterday while we had him with our family. We took him to chuckie cheese to play games and then back home to have pizza for dinner and of course cake. He seemed really happy with what he got and him and payten had a blast playing together. The kids made a "tent" in the living room last night and got to sleep in their sleeping bags. They thought that was pretty exciting. Me and David also got to sleep downstairs with them, luckily there is two couches so we didn't have to sleep in with them. They thoroughly enjoyed the day full of privileges they don't get very often. Now we have a little bit of a break before another birthday comes up. The next one is ME!!

Oregon Trip
David and me took a kinda last minute trip down to Oregon to help his father move a couple of hours away from where he was. While there i got to meet a bunch of his family and see where he grew up. It was a couple of busy days spent loading and then unloading a large trailer. Once finished and headed home we decided to take advantage of the fact that we had no children with us and stop along the way to spend time with each other. As it was late when we headed home we decided to stop and sleep in the truck at Multnomah Falls and hike the falls in the morning. we got up in the morning hiked almost to the top of the fall and then went back down to have breakfast at the Lodge. Once done there we started driving toward Washington and decided to stop at the Bonnieville Fish Hatchery. We walked around saw the fish and even got to feed them which if you ask David was the highlight of the trip. While it wasn't anything fancy we were perfectly happy getting to spend any uninterrupted time together. This is a trip i will not likely forget not just because i got to meet the boyfriends family but because of the little things we got to do together.
Birthday Girl!
Hard to believe it but my little girl Allyxis turned 1 last week. We had a small birthday party for her with dinner, presents and of course cake! She had so much fun opening her presents and exploring with her new toys. While the toys were fun my little munchkin loved sitting and eating her very own cupcake(and being able to smear it all over her face without mommy taking it away or cleaning it up right away). So with this last year behind us i no longer have a baby but now a toddler to keep up with. I look forward to the many years to come of fun and crazyness with my youngest wild child.

Fun with Christmas presents
Payten got a fort making kit for Christmas and finally her and Wyatt got a chance to make one. They spent about an hour trying to put it together before asking me to help them. another 15 minutes later they had a fort big enough for both of them. It was cute to see them so excited to play together. i had to pry them away from it to go to bed.
Wyatt got the green 22 that he has been crazy about for Christmas this year. last weekend we took him out so that he could shoot it for the first time. While we were out there we let him shoot a few of Davids other guns(with assistance of course). He sure takes after his daddy.

Welcome 2013!
With the new year here comes new years resolutions. I have never been very big on creating them but this year is an all new adventure for my new little family so i have decided to come up with just a few.
This year i want to:
1. Keep this blog going by posting at least once a week, which has proven to be harder then i though it would be. i think that is pretty evident since i have not wrote on it in a couple of years. I would like to keep it going so that family and friends can try to keep up with my ever changing life.
2. Settle my family into a new house that we can make into a loving home. As many of you may know me and the girls recently moved to Richland to try to start over after a rough year. The new house that we moved into last month has now become unavailable for us to live in after a couple of months. Since we have not even finished unpacking our things we are trying to find somewhere to move as soon as possible.
3. I plan to take a break for the hussle and bussle every once and a while to look back at where we are and all that we have and be grateful. It is easy to get so caught up in life that we loose sight of how lucky we are. We tend to take advantage of what we call standards like running water, housing, electricity and people that love and support us. Many others do not have these thing and we should be thankful for all we have
