another week in review

Another week has come and gone and as we settle into our new "work" routine we are becoming  more comfortable. David has another week of work at his new job and is already pulling overtime days making them long for him. He is looking forward to the next paycheck as overtime brings a nice extra to it. Payten had her normal weekly activities and is doing great in her Awanas program. Allyxis is growing like a weed and developing in leaps and bounds almost walking without any help. The feeling when your baby takes steps without your help is a feeling that nothing else compares to. Wyatt has been busy at his moms house getting ready for the best trip of his life so far. His grandparents, him and his mother left Saturday to go to Disney World. He is having a blast and we look forward to having him back soon to hear all about it. As for me i am staying busy taking care of the kids and developing my domestic diva skills. I am developing a love for baking and as always is looking for more craft projects to do. This weekend me and David had no kids at all as the girls went to their dads for the weekend which gave us a rare opportunity to spend time together without any other distractions. Saturday involved sleeping in, some running around and then a nice date night. While it wasn't anything fancy we are very grateful to have the time together to do whatever we desire.  well until next week i wish you the best

the week in review

Monday marked the first of hopefully many days of work for David. He started a new job welding for a company called Key Technology in Walla Walla. While there is the draw back of a long commute everyday for him, not to mention the fact that he has to drive my car simply because the truck cost way to much to drive that far everyday(and believe me he cant wait to get home so he can take his precious truck out.) Man a man and his truck can not be separated for long. it is almost painful for him to have me driving it around all week instead of him. He was so cute though, last weekend before he started work he cleaned her all up for me so i didn't have to drive her around all muddy(because i would never drive a truck around that isn't clean.lol) Anyways, the first long week has come and gone and we look forward to settling into a new work routine. David has already had mandatory overtime on his first week and is believed to have many more weeks of overtime to come. At least we can maybe pay a few things off with it...We are trying to look at all the positives of it.

The weekend came in what seems like no time because of the busy new schedule for us. Saturday was fulled with two birthday parties for us and the kids to attend. First we attended Davids buddy Preston's daughters birthday party and Hubbies pizza then off to the park for a friends sons party. Its safe to say that the kids were totally pooped at the end of the day and ready for bed when we got home. We enjoyed time with friends and the kids had a blast playing and getting all their energy out. Our tummies were stuffed by the end with pizza and cake(which was what we had at both parties). With every activity we do together we become closer and more of a family. Wyatt and Payten are acting just like siblings now and it is hilarious to watch them sometimes. Sunday has been a layed back day with just church in the morning and some relaxing family time. Payten was dropped off to spend a special sleepover with grandma and papa since my mom has tomorrow off from work. She enjoys being with them so much and i love that she can take advantage of having them close to spend time with. Off to bed we will be going soon as 3:30 am comes way to early for David to get up for work. The next week is sure to be busy with activities.

A Payten and David Day

One day i was busy running around doing things and David said he would keep Payten and do something with her while i ran errends. About 20 minutes later i start getting pictures sent to my phone of them at the park. turns out they were having so much fun they went to 3 parks! Payten was having so much fun she didnt even want me to come home cuz then she would have to stop playing at the park. lol. I have been hearing about all the fun they had all week. I am extremely greatful for a man who will take her out and have fun taking her to a park,  taking pictures the whole time.(im starting to rub off on him, he is taking pictures everywhere now! I love it!)
